Playlist A Life

The reason I used “Budapest” by George Ezra is because like king Duncan, the song talks about traveling around the place, country to country. However unlike the play, king Duncan traveled around the country not around the world. Like both king Duncan’s fate and the songwriter, the songwriter never makes it to Budapest however Duncan made it to Macbeth’s house but ended in dying there too. - Chris

The reason I chose "Goodtimes Together" is because it is about how King Duncan always had a good time and his people were happy under his rule. It is like the people reminiscing the good times with King Duncan. The song represents his wonderful reign filled with good times. - Jaron

I chose "Be Prepared" since it to me represents the planning for his death. Since the song was about planning someone's demise, just as Macbeth planned for Duncan's death to become king. - Brett

I chose the song "How Could You Leave" because this song represents the impact King Duncan left on everyone. He left all of a sudden after bringing so much joy to everyone. It left many sad and hurt by his loss. Even though it isn’t exactly like the song and Duncan wasn’t a bad person the song is about loosing someone so suddenly who was very important. - Mia
